What are the different types of pneumatic solenoid valve?

Pneumatic solenoid valve is the most important component of pneumatic control components,with a wide variety of specifications and different structures. According to the control pattern, there are two types, direct-acting and pilot-acting. According to the structure,there are three types: sliding column type, cut-off type and coaxial cut-off type.

According to the sealing form, there are two types of gap sealing and elastic sealing.According to the power supply used, there are two types of DC and AC. According

to the use environment, there are ordinary type and explosion-proof type, etc.

According to the lubrication conditions, there are no oil lubrication needs and oil mist

lubrication needed types.

3V Series Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

It’s 2 way 3 port valve, normally are used to control the single acting cylinder.

There are two types: one is the directing acting type, another is the piloted type.

2-way: means the valve column, or the valve piston have two move path.

3-port: means that there are three ports, the inlet port , output port and the exhaust port. Inlet port is connected with the inlet air source, the output port is connect with the cylinder inlet port.

3V1 Series Valve: Directing acting style, normally close or normally open mode are available. Several valves could be combined in valve-island by the coupling screw, no need manifold or sub-base.

3V2 Series Valve: Directing acting style, normally close or normally open mode are available. Normally be single used for the large air flow rate circumstance.

3V2M Series Valve: Directing acting style, normally close or normally open mode are available. Need the sub-base to form a valve-island.

3V3 Series Valve: Directing acting style, normally close or normally open mode are available. With stronger valve body, always be used in the tough situation and needs large air flow rate.

3V110, 3V120 Valve: Internal piloted design, could be single solenoid or double solenoid actuated. Normal close or normal open style for choice. M5 or 1/8 port, for driving the Pin cylinder or low air consuming device.

3V210, 3V220 Valve:Internal piloted design, could be single solenoid or double solenoid actuated. Normal close or normal open style for choice. 1/8 or 1/4 port, for driving the mini cylinder or small bore size standard cylinder.

3V310, 3V320 Valve:Internal piloted design, could be single solenoid or double solenoid actuated. Normal close or normal open style for choice. 1/4 or 3/8 port, for driving the standard cylinder or device needs large air consuming.

4V Series AIRTAC Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

It could be 2 way 5 port type or 3 way 5 port type, normally are used to control the double acting cylinder. They are all internal piloted design.

2-way,3-way: means the valve column have two or three moving paths.

5-port: means that there are five ports, one inlet port , two output ports and the two exhaust ports. Inlet port is connected with the inlet air source, the output port is connect with the cylinder.2 way 5 port valve is suitable for controlling one set double acting cylinder; 3 way 5 port valve is suitable for controlling two sets double acting cylinder.

4V110 Series: Be with smart valve body, port size M5 or 1/8. Suitable for controlling the mini cylinder,compact cylinder and lower air consuming device.

Single solenoid actuated.

4V120 Series: Two solenoid drive type which increase the reliability, port size M5 or 1/8. Suitable for controlling the mini cylinder,compact cylinder and lower air consuming device.

4V130 Series: Two solenoid drive type, 3 way 5 port valve. port size M5 or 1/8. Suitable for controlling two sets of mini cylinder, compact cylinder or lower air consuming device.

4V210 Series: Single solenoid drive type, 2 way 5 port valve. Port size 1/8 or 1/4. Suitable for controlling the double acting mini cylinder, small bore size standard cylinder. This is the most commonly used solenoid valve.

4V220 Series: Two solenoid drive type which increase the reliability, 2 way 5 port valve, port size 1/8 or 1/4. For controlling double acting mini cylinder, small bore size standard cylinder.

4V230 Series: Two solenoid, 3 way 5 port valve. Port size 1/8 or 1/4. For controlling two sets of double acting mini cylinder, small bore size standard cylinder.

4V310 Series: Single solenoid, 2 way 5 port valve. With bigger valve body. Port size 1/4 and 3/8. For controlling the standard cylinder which bore size more than 125mm.

4V320 Series: Double solenoid control to increase the reliability, 2 way 5 port valve. With bigger valve body. Port size 1/4 and 3/8. For controlling the standard cylinder which bore size more than 125mm.

4V330 Series: Double solenoid control, 3 way 5 port valve. With bigger valve body. Port size 1/4 and 3/8. For controlling two sets standard cylinder which bore size more than 125mm.

4V410 Series: Single solenoid, 2 way 5 port valve. With the biggest valve body in the 4V series. Port size 1/2. For controlling the standard cylinder which bore size more than 200mm.

4V420 Series: Double solenoid control to crease the reliability, 2 way 5 port valve. With biggest valve body in 4V series. Port size 1/4 and 3/8. For controlling one standard cylinder which bore size more than 200mm.

4V430 Series: Double solenoid, 3 way 5 port valve. With bigger valve body. Port size 1/2. For controlling the two sets standard cylinder which bore size more than 200mm.

4M310,4M320,4M330 Namur valve: Single solenoid or double solenoid control, 2 way 5 port valve. Port size form M5 to 1/4”. For controlling one standard cylinder. If assembled with the transform plate ,the valve could be changed to 2 way 3 port Namur valve.

Stainless Steel Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

HY-S1-02 stainless steel solenoid valve, directing design. 2 way 3 port type. 304 stainless steel valve body, port size 1/8. Mainly used in the corrosive environment.

Miniature solenoid valves

HB10 Series miniature valve: a kind of direct acting miniature solenoid valve, 3/2 way design. The valve must be assembled on the sub-base. For the most general-purpose applications requiring a CV of 0.018 to 0.430, it is an excellent choice.
